Last week was a complete off week. We didn't have a game on the weekend and we didn't have any practice during the week. We were planning on going to Sweden for a few days, but that fell through due to Juha's wedding, so we only went for one full day but that was pretty fun and quite an experience. The weather hasn't turned around too much. It rained almost everyday of the week while the temperature is still hanging around the mid-60's.
Well, besides Sweden the week was pretty boring. We had nothing planned, had no football at all, and the weather was bad. Scott and I look forward to practicing because it is the main thing we came over here to do. Anytime I step on the football field, either practice or game field, everything in my mind clears and it is only football. I really enjoy playing over here and I wish we practiced a little more. However, we have games here every weekend till we go, so that should help out a lot.
There are 3 weeks left in the regular season, then a semifinal game, and then the championship. Now that it is at the end of the season, we are starting to see a few more people come to practice that we have never seen before. I think a lot of older players will come back during the last weeks, because they don't have the endurance to play an entire season, but they still like to play. In order to be elgible to play in the playoffs, you have to play in at least one regular season game.
Kimi told me today that there is a online poll on our conference's website (on the message board) and they are asking which team has the best American players.
