After Scott's girlfriend, Megan, left on Monday it was a pretty boring week. Everything pretty much went back to normal, we were still lifting everyday and playing Madden on Playstation. The weather is gradually getting better. Now we have some days that are in the mid to high 70s, but there are never two good days in a row. One day will be sunny all day long and the next day it will pour for hours.
On Wednesday, we were supposed to go to our offensive coordinator, Hatsa's, summer home. It was only going to be 20 minutes away but we were going to BBQ, get in the sauna, and hang out outside on a warm Finland summer day. When we woke up it was pouring until the mid afternoon. Then Hatsa called us and said that we should cancel it because at a summer home you are supposed to be outside. So we decided we were going to do it the next week. About 45 minutes after he called the clouds opened up and the sound was pounding. It turns out it would've been a nice day to do it after all.
On Friday, I played golf with Hatsa at a club around Turku only 20 minutes away. The course was really nice for Finland. It doesn't really compare to some nice courses in Florida, but it was pretty decent. It was really wet from all the rain we have had. I played well and shot 78 with a set of all Titleist clubs from Hatsa's friend. Its always nice to get out on the golf course and let loose.
It was a little weird on Saturday because we normally play on Saturdays but this game was on Sunday. For a report on that game head to Game 5 page. We played only 40 km from Russia on the eastern border of Finland. The ride back took about 6 hours and that was not fun.
