UPDATE   March 19, 2007
Thanks to everyone who wrote in the guestbook, sometimes I forget about this thing.  Thanks for keeping me on my toes.  The past few weeks have been absolutely crazy.

I got released in Chicago after final cuts and really wasn't expecting it.  So I returned to Indianapolis to figure out where I was going from there.  I was hoping to hear from some Arena 1 teams and get picked up but for a week and a half it really wasn't happening.  That time was the most stressful time of my life.

After talking to some Arena 1 coaches that I had contacted about some advice, they suggested that I get back on the field.  They said that you never know what is going to happen in Arena 1 so if I hadn't heard anything by then to go ahead and sign Arena 2 for one more year.

So I was considering a few teams: Spokane, Ft. Wayne, and Cincinnati.  Louisville really wasn't in the running, because of a few certain sets of consequences.  There is no bad blood at all there with Louisville.

So after several stressful days I decided to go with Spokane, because of their situation and my familiarity with Coach Shackelford.  It was a hard decision to go away from home, but I felt it was something I had to do.

I made that decision on a Thursday and signed the contract on Friday.  I was due to fly out on Monday at 6:30pm.  Then on Friday I got a call from the Buffalo Bills who wanted me to come out and work out for them.  Then on Saturday morning I got contacted by both the Grand Rapids Rampage and the Kansas City Brigade.

It was just weird how it worked out not hearing anything in almost two weeks and then getting three calls in two days.

I talked to KC again on Sunday and was going to talk to them again on Monday before I left for Spokane.  So I got a call on Monday at about noon to go out to Kansas City to be on practice squad.  Right after I decided I was going to accept that offer I got called back from the Bills letting me know that I was go to go for the Wednesday workout.  Well then I was already supposed to be in KC when the Buffalo workout was going to be.

So I called my agent and told him the situation and then he figured it all out.  That is his job to straighten that stuff out especially when it comes to the NFL stuff.

So my schedule got changed again about what I was going to do.  Now it changed to flying out to Buffalo for the Bills workout on Wednesday and then fly to KC to be with them...

Well the workout in Buffalo went really well.  I was very happy about how I performed.  All of my deep balls were right on target, and I felt like I had a pretty good day.  Of course there are always a few balls that can be better, but for the most part it was a good workout.

Now I am in KC working out and meeting with the coaches.  The team is off this week because they have a bye week and next week they get back to work to prepare for the Arizona Rattlers.

As for Spokane they are my team IF I go down to the AF2, but for right now I'm not worrying about that.  I'm going to make this team!
