Storm 59  Rattlers 50
Tonight was a good night for the Storm but not the easiest one.  The team is still grieving the loss of one of our Tampa Bay Storm family members, Caroline Wiren.  It was good to get a win dedicated to Nyle and his family.  At the end of the game we all signed a game ball and are going to give it to Clay, Nyle's newborn baby.  It was an emotional game and we are all glad we got the win for Nyle.

It was good to be back in front of our Tampa crowd.  They were awesome and it was the loudest arena I've played in.  I'm glad that they are on our side.  It was also good not to have to get on a long plane ride before a game.  Plus we will get some much deserved days off this weekend.

Our defense continued to play huge as they have in the last four weeks.  This game was a little more high scoring than our last game we ended up winning 59-50 and our defense came up with a huge stop at the end of the game to seal the victory.  The pass rush is unbelievable and our DBs are making plays on the ball.

Offensively we are getting better.  I'm starting to spread the ball around more, which I think will be good.  We have very good receivers and need to get them all involved.  I threw eight touchdowns despite two interceptions.  Two of the receivers had three touchdowns and the other one had two.  The eight touchdowns tied a franchise record for single game Tds, but I should've had at least 9 probably 10 though.  I also broke the 300 yard barrier for the first time this season, which was good although yards in Arena don't mean that much.

Next week we play the Georgia Force in Atlanta.  Right now they have a near perfect record and are ranked number one.  So we definitely have our work cut out for us, but I think we will be up for the challenge.  The Storm played them earlier in the season when I wasn't here and they were tied in the fourth quarter before the Force pulled away.  The game is only on tv locally in Tampa Bay and Georgia.  Tampa bay on Catch 47 and on in Atlanta on CSS.

My mom found this webpage with some sweet pictures on it from the Arizona game.  The web address is
www.spmsportspage.com.  The direct link should be this - click here.  There are three pages of really good pictures.  I've already asked permission to put some of them on my site here.

Thanks to everyone that has signed the guestbook so far.  I love hearing from you guys!

Go Storm.
