Storm vs. Rampage
This was a really sloppy game.  It was probably the sloppiest game that turned into a 29 point
victory for us.  There were turnovers galore in what was probably a pretty exciting game to
watch from the stands but not much fun to play in.  On the bright side our defense and special
teams played great as we recovered the first two kickoffs off of the net.

Offensively we played about as bad as we have played since I've been here.  The tv copy of the
game said that there was 8 dropped passes, which our guys just don't do at all.  We had
multiple turnovers on offense that just can't happen to a playoff team, especially at the end of
the season.  We will clean that up this weekend when we take on Austin as head into the
playoffs.

The good thing about the win in GR was that we clinched a home playoff game.  We have
come a long way from starting 0-5 to get a home playoff game with one game to play in the
season.  Our team has really rallied around each other and it is neat to be a part of it.  There
is a good feeling in the locker room.  One that we think has other people thinking they don't
want to play us in the playoffs.  Its good to be on a winning streak and we need to continue it
this weekend.

We really aren't going to rest any players for the Austin game.  This game is important not
because of certain playoff implications but for momentum and confidence heading into the
playoffs.  We want to use this game as a ramp heading into the playoffs and not a down slope.

There have been some really cool articles about me in the past week or two, so I want to give
some shoutouts to those guys, Dave Campbell, Dan Wright, and Tom Ando.  Here are the
articles
Dave Campbell (Madison Courier), Dan Wright (KY Post), Tom Ando
(ArenaFan).

Also big props to everyone that came to the game in GR, Dana, Owen, Don B, Matt, Marie,
Dan, Sally, Steve, Papaw, Vaughn, Rick.

We will have a pretty big crowd coming for the Austin game.  I'm looking forward to it.

Lets get it,
Brett
